- Slow Drainage - sink draining slow or toilets flushing slow can indicate it is clogged or full.
- Bad Smell - your nose knows...strong odors coming from your drain means it needs pumped.
- Water Around Your Septic Tank - leakage should be underground and never noticeable.
- Major Sewage Backup - any waste backing up in your sinks or toilets needs immediate attention!

Upon inspection, we will measure the size of your septic tank. Typical pricing for the three most common septic tank sizes are as follow:
- $400 for a 1250 gallon tank
- $450 for a 1500 gallon tank
- $500 for a 1750 gallon tank
Each tank can be different and incidentals may come up that will be added to the total. (i.e. cracked lids, repairs, etc.) Homeowners can avoid digging fees by exposing the septic tank lid and excessive back flow. If digging is required, an additional fee will be charged . After-hour and emergency service are available, for an additional fee, when schedule allows.
Caring for Your Septic System. Maintenance is key!
- Get your septic tank cleaned every 3-5 years.
- Pump out your septic tank whenever it is needed.
- Only allow a certified, knowledgeable technician handle problems that occur with your septic system.
- Do not put harsh products down the drain (i.e. grease, oils, paints, chemicals, medications, etc.).
- Do not put non-degradable products in the toilet (i.e. disposable wipes, feminine products, cigarettes, etc.).
- Cover your septic system with grass. Or, maintain plants and vegetation near the system to ensure roots don't block drains. (See photo on right of roots that got into a septic system.)
- Keep cars and heavy vehicles parked elsewhere.
- Reduce your water use to prevent overloading the system.
- Use soaps and detergents that are low-suds, biodegradable, and low or free of phosphate.
- Avoid additives as it may only work for a short-term benefit.
